Joshua is getting big! In the blink of an eye, he outgrew all 3-6 months clothing. Mommy had to buy long sleeves that fit him when the temperature dropped two weeks ago. Josh is fitting snugly in 9-month PJ. For causal wears, mommy started to clothe him 6-9, 6-12 months tops. He is wearing a size 3 diaper now. Mommy’s having shoulder ache after holding Josh a long while. Daddy also agrees that Josh + car-seat is quite heavy to carry.
Highlights of 5 Months:
Longer stretch between meals
Finish up to 7.5 oz milk
Mommy keeps up breastfeeding
More babbling and laughing out loud
Rolling (and spinning) when being placed in the crib/on the gym mat
Support upper body/stronger arm strength
Sit longer with toys at the restaurant
Manipulate toys with fingers
Calm down when mommy singing ABC
Very curious with the surroundings
It’s been a month since we moved Josh to the other room. He has been adjusting well. Mommy puts him in the crib awake after the last feeding at around 9 PM. He usually falls asleep within 10 minutes. However, Josh has been struggling to find a sleep-in position in the past few days. He has been rolling over in the crib and crying to find a stable position. After a few crying episodes, He found one! His favorite position is face down with his little hands placing underneath his cheeks. Mommy is kind of worried with this sleep-in pose even though Josh can lift his head and turn it sideways now. Mommy and daddy decided to be watchful and turn Josh to side way when he is in the face-down position.
